What should I bring?


To help you pack for CAMP, here’s a list of essential items you will need to bring for the weekend, as well as other optional and suggested items you may find useful.


Essential:


  1. Sleeping gear (either a sleeping bag or sheets/blankets), pillow

  2. Towels for showering and swimming

  3. Toiletries (shampoo, soap, tooth brush, tooth paste, dental floss, etc.)

  4. Cool day-time and warm night-time outfits and footwear



Optional:


  1. A flashlight with a reliable power source

  2. Sun block or sunscreen

  3. Sunbathing attire

  4. Insect repellent

  5. Slippers or flip-flops

  6. Sturdy hiking boots for the hills, sneakers or sandals for lounging

  7. Water bottle, small back/fanny pack, and other gear for hiking trips

  8. Tent (if you don’t want to be in a cabin)

  9. Rain gear (because we’re in the Northwest and you never know)

  10. Musical instruments to jam with (whether classical or a little offbeat), or to accompany singing at the campfire

  11. Ear plugs (you may share a cabin with snoring folks—highly recommended)

  12. Between-meal munchies or special treats

  13. Personal items to adorn yourself

  14. Unfinished knitting, crochet or beading projects that you’ve set aside

  15. Cameras, to capture those special CAMP moments

  16. Fun stuff (games, dress-up clothing, telescopes, binoculars, nature guides, pool toys, beach balls, etc.—use your imagination!)

  17. Nailpolish

  18. Kites


Please do not bring:


  1. Alcohol

  2. Illegal substances

  3. Fireworks

  4. Attitude

  5. Dogs or any other pets
